Corey Schwab Gets His Week with the Cup

Because of his value to the team - the New Jersey Devils - netminder Corey Schwab gets to have the Stanley Cup for the coveted first week. Throughout the playoffs Corey faced 8 powerful shots and not one of them found the back of the net.

"I'm good, but I'm not 100% save percentage good," said fellow teammate and netminder Martin Brodeur.

As to his plans for his week with the Cup Corey says: "I'm pretty much gonna spend the whole week 'Schwabbing the deck' with it." When asked precisely what "Schwabbing the deck" is, Corey declined to comment. But some of his team mates have told us that it involves putting a saddle on the cup and riding it in the nude.
